Hollie Spinn, LCSW

founder + Clinician

I’m Hollie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and OCD + Anxiety specialist with extensive training in evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety, and related conditions. My clinical training includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for body-focused repetitive behaviors, CBT for Hoarding Disorder, Behavioral Activation, and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD.

Alongside my clinical work, I serve as part-time faculty at Baylor University’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, where I have the privilege of helping train future social workers. I love being able to bring what I learn from clinical practice into the classroom - and what I learn through teaching, research, and continued training right back into my work with clients.

But OCD + Anxiety Collaborative is also personal to me.

I live with OCD myself. For a long time, I didn’t know that what I was experiencing had a name. I knew my brain could get incredibly loud, that I could get stuck in loops that made no sense to anyone else, and that I spent way too much energy trying to find certainty. What I didn’t know was that there were other people whose brains worked like mine - or that there was treatment specifically designed to help.

Finding effective treatment changed a lot for me. But it also left me thinking about how lonely it can be before you find someone who truly understands OCD.

That’s a big part of why I created OCD + Anxiety Collaborative.

I wanted to create the kind of space I wish I had found sooner: one where you don’t have to explain why a thought scares you, worry that you’ll be judged for what happens inside your head, or feel like you’re the only person in the world whose brain does this.

Here, we can talk about the weird thoughts, the scary thoughts, the endless what-ifs, the reassurance seeking, the avoidance, and all the things you may have gotten very good at hiding.

And then we’ll work on something bigger than getting rid of anxiety: helping you build a life where anxiety doesn’t get to make all the decisions.

That’s the heart behind OCD + Anxiety Collaborative. Evidence-based treatment from someone who knows the science - and knows what it’s like to live with it, too.
